Why Stop Smoking Holidays?
It has been proven scientifically that if male adults quit smoking they can prolong their life span by 13.2 years and female adults by 12.4 years.

There future spend over that period is astonishingly 267,000 euro or 315,000 dollars. One could pay cash for a 3 bed-roomed house with that sum of money.
Cigarettes in Thailand are relatively cheaper averaging 100 baht per higher brand for a 20 pack.
If one calculates, stopping the addiction on a 2 pack a day smoker over the next 25 years on average at 150 baht per pack. The outlay is still very high at 2,700,000 baht or 69,000 euro or 81,000 dollars. One could buy a 3 bed-roomed house in most parts of Thailand with this money saved.

When you check in Sunday before 4 pm. The program commences on Monday morning at 7am. The day of the turtle, everything in slow motion. Cha, Cha (Cha Cha means slowly slowly in Thai language).
Free massage, light breathing exercises and short meditation. Also a short visit to the beach where one can enjoy the sun, a great physician taken modestly. The 3 Day Fast will commence at 7am on this Day.
Where Stop Smoking Holidays?
Our home is a 16 bed-roomed house on over 1 rai of mature gardens, with swimming pool in a estate of other homes. Where it is? It is approximately 600m from a 6km stretch of quite beach.
Paknampran is a fishing village surrounded by sea, mountain and river. The location is rural and the Thai people are very friendly, most are not proficient in English. We are 6km from the village where there are many activities and interesting views on the way, kitesurfing, fishing, cycling, playgrounds for families and many resorts.
The restaurants are plentiful, serving both Thai and Western food at reasonable prices. Paknampran is about 3 hours drive by car from Bangkok.
Our accommodation is 3 star, comfortable and clean. Sobriety Holidays have endeavored to create a homely environment empowering people to find their way. 9 of our rooms have aircon, ensuite and king size beds Wi-Fi is available.
How Stop Smoking Holidays?
If you do decide to take part in this program at Stop Smoking Holidays, we request you be in regular email or Skype contact with our facilitators 14 days preceding commencement. So that one can get into a proper mindset to break the habit. We do not ask you to quit at this stage but feed you with a small amount of practices that can help one with their Journey.
The program is simple, Exercise, Good Nutrition, Meditation and New Hobbies. We are very confident, if applied diligently during your stay and most importantly carried out for a long period when you go back out in the World. You Will Conquer The Habit. All participants must adhere to the rules and regulations and schedules of this program

Stop Smoking Holidays introduce a number of therapeutic applications based on mindfulness for helping people with depression, addiction, cravings. Mindfulness has also gained worldwide popularity as a distinctive method to handle emotions.

The practice of Noble Silence is a mandatory rule in Stop Smoking Holidays from Monday to Sunday, starting 10pm evening and finishing at 8am mornings. It allows the practice of conscious breathing to become deep and effective. Like still water that reflects things as they are, the calming silence helps us to see things more clearly and therefore to be in a deeper contact with ourselves and those around us. Although we do not speak,we can still acknowledge the presence of others with a smile or a bow.
